So, it’s finally here! It’s officially spring. To be honest, it has come around again so fast, time flies for sure.
Although it is spring, it’s still a little chilly, but that’s nothing to complain too much about as I get to put together some interesting outfits – with the use of unique layering – using old and new pieces from my wardrobe.
It’s good to play with textures when it comes to layering – it makes an outfit look more interesting. For example, you don’t have to coordinate a woollen waistcoat under a woollen blazer – you can mix things up and wear a lighter cotton or denim jacket underneath instead.
When it comes to accessories, I like to keep things quite balanced. I tend to match them ever so slightly, which brings the ensemble together without over doing it.
A smart but casual look perfect for a chilly weekend.
