Ermenegildo Zegna is probably one of my favourites when it comes to fine Italian tailoring. Here is the Ermenegildo Zegna Couture SS 2015 fashion show movie directed by Johan Söderberg. It’s a little unconventional but it brings a different view on the latest ss15 show designed by Head designer Stefano Pilati.
This collection definitely aims to explore and combine the apparent contradictions as in the previous collections. You can see that the collection challenges and develops a silhouette. The line also has the same approach as the previous two collections (although a lot less rigid). Stripes and looser silhouettes ran throughout the collection with block colours holding a smart but sporty lux look. The collection managed to successfully merge formality and leisure combinations. To top it off, models wore light jackets tied around the waist and neckerchiefs loosely tied around the neck. Sneakers and socks with sandals added a relaxed element.
All in all, it was an interesting combination for summer tailoring.
