Oliver Sweeney met with myself and 19 of menswear’s most influential people for breakfast on the Thursday 30th May, to launch the Oliver Sweeney Compass Project.
The meeting was held at the incredible Castle Gibson venue in Stoke Newington. All together the likes of stylists, designers, bloggers, editors, musicians and more were brought under one roof to be set a very special mission.
Breakfast was devoured and the mission was unveiled shortly after.
We were told that over the next couple weeks, each participant must photograph their chosen Compass shoe in four separate London locations (North, East, South and West) to represent the four points on the compass. Each image will then be uploaded to Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #compasscollection and a hashtag for the location (e.g. #osnorth), along with @oliversweeney. When the time’s up, we will then all meet up again to see the final results.
To keep up with everyone’s progress in the competition, be sure to look up #compasscollection on Twitter and Instagram to images and get the scoop from the professionals on the range.
