A couple weeks ago I was given a shirt by Austin Reed in order to take part in their white shirt challenge.
The thing with white shirts is that you can never go wrong and because of this it’s such a great starting point when it comes to putting an outfit together. The great thing about this challenge is that I was able to create a look which consisted of both old and new items that I already own.
When it came to styling the shirt I knew exactly what look I was was going for. I wanted smart and classic look, something that was timeless.
I teamed my Austin Reed shirt with a Blue Silk anchor motif print tie, leather braces, a taupe cotton waistcoat which was great against the contrast of the brown hounds tooth blazer and beige linen trousers. To add a few finishing touches I accessorised with a panama hat, red print pocket square, designed by myself, and a Tan Holdall.
All product used in this post are made with breathable materials which is perfect for our, often muggy, British summer.
