This spring, the legendary George Cox teams up with Red or Dead to create a footwear collection exclusive to Schuh.
Both brands are British and have amazing amounts of heritage, which explains why this exclusive collaboration is exceptional. George Cox has been producing shoes since 1906 and throughout the years the brand has left its stamp on the mens footwear industry. Not only has Cox worked with the likes of Vivienne Westwood, but is renowned for bringing Brothel Creepers to Teddy boys and the Winklepickers to the Mod scene. Being one of the most iconic footwear brands, it was only a matter of time before both George Cox and Red or Dead collaborated. They have been footwear innovators for decades, merging the best of London’s street-style with influences from the history of iconic subcultures.
The Red or Dead ‘Mr Cox’ collection offer the Oxblood Tassle Loafer, Clack Ghillie Creeper and Sand Desert Chukka Boot. Made from only the best British suede, leather uppers and premium leather lining. Each shoe features the iconic thick creeper sole, which are all Goodyear welted. Prices range from £220-£235, but are limited to 24 pairs of each style.
The Red or Dead Mr Cox collection will be available in selected stores and online at www.schuh.co.uk this April 2013
